Brief: Brochure
We subjected the charity to our usual forensic examination, probing and questioning and stripping away the layers till we find out what makes an organisation tick. In this case, it was the interaction of many different types of people who were raising funds and organising events, from OAP coffee mornings and sponsored bike rides to trekking through Peru. These people come from all walks of life and every generation, and between them they create the charity - they are, as our proposition put it, 'The Face of Yorkshire Cancer Research'. Brief: National Direct Mail Campaign
Ventrolla specialises in renovating and maintaining traditional sash windows and has a national chain of over 25 franchised operations. We targeted 12,000 listed property owners nationwide, people who had a legal and aesthetic interest in keeping the period features of their properties, with a direct mail piece. We believe that mailers should work in the click of a finger, and there was no escaping our message. The outer envelope opened to instantly reveal a completely renovated sash window, followed by a list of the company's USPs and a reply mechanism for a free survey.Ventrolla / Sash Window Renovators

Brief: Event Promotion
YCR were organising two events: a trek through Peru and a bike ride around Vietnam. Our brief was to create something which would persuade sme's to ask their staff to join in. Our core theme was 'Make a World of Difference', and our basic message was that anyone could help from a chef to an airline pilot. We targeted HR managers to suggest that they send their staff on a team-building exercise which would also raise money for this very worthy cause - and perhaps open up PR opportunities. In addition to the direct mail piece, we designed press campaigns in the Yorkshire Post and GNER's Livewire magazine. We also produced a twice-monthly e-mail newsletter as a reminder as the events came nearer.Bullying Online / Anti-Bullying Charity
Brief: Raise awareness in schools
We targeted national schools with a safety guide offering advice to teachers and pupils on the subject of bullying. Using our specially commissioned illustrations, we showed particular scenarios which we knew our target market would relate to. The pack's look and feel delivers its information with credibility and gets over a positive and proactive approach to help victims of bullying.

Brief: Support a Software Trial
Filling a niche with new emissions legislation, the company had developed software to monitor levels of emissions from power stations. Our one-piece mailer depicted a PC screen with the call to action website showing in the browser and a credit card on the keyboard. The recipient simply had to log on to the website shown and enter the number on the credit card to receive a fully authorised trial version of the software.
